The fifteen systems
Every system on Suan obeys the same law: calculation belongs to engines, interpretation to AI. Here is what each one does, and how they verify each other within a reading.
BaZi (Four Pillars)
The backbone: four pillars from the birth moment, with structure, favorable elements, seasonal balancing and stars. Its favorable-element verdict is shared platform-wide so no system contradicts another.
Zi Wei Dou Shu
Twelve palaces, fourteen major stars and the four transformations, with decade and annual overlays. Cross-checked against BaZi — star chart and pillar chart must agree before strong words are used.
Da Liu Ren
One of the Three Ceremonial Arts; the classical master of concrete questions. Monthly general plus hour sets the board; Four Lessons yield Three Transmissions and the Twelve Generals. Timing comes from the transmissions' days.
Qi Men Dun Jia
Board fixed by solar terms; three nobles, six instruments, nine stars, eight doors, eight deities. Advises direction — the three auspicious doors mark favorable bearings.
Najia I-Ching (Liu Yao)
Full classical rigging: stems and branches on each line, six relatives, self and response lines, six beasts, and the changed line's destination. Reads the same hexagram as Plum Blossom for mutual proof.
Plum Blossom (Mei Hua)
A hexagram cast from the asking moment; body and use elements set the tone, the nuclear hexagram shows the process, the changed one the outcome.
Xuan Kong Flying Stars
A true natal chart of the home from a compass-measured facing (24 mountains) and move-in period; mountain and water stars grade the dwelling, annual stars mark each year's sectors. Requires a measured facing in your profile.
Eight Mansions
Life trigram from birth year, East/West group, and four auspicious directions checked against your door and bed orientation — no renovation needed, just alignment.
Western astrology
True-ephemeris planetary positions and aspects — the Western backbone for cross-cultural verification.
Tarot
A drawn spread mirrors the situation on the intuitive register, read alongside the hexagrams.
Numerology
Birth-date reduction as a light, universal reference for temperament and rhythm.
Human Design
Type and inner authority from birth data — a modern lens on decision style.
Vedic astrology
Sidereal (Lahiri) Moon sign and nakshatra with the 120-year Vimshottari dasha — the "luck" backbone for Indian cultural backgrounds.
Xiao Liu Ren
The finger-count quick sign — six omens from month, day and hour. Powers the free one-tap Quick Sign; never enters the main verdict.
Auspicious Places
Suan's original feature: favorable direction, terrain and time window from three methods in consensus — it only appears when they agree, annotated with the day's almanac notes.
Within one reading the systems vote; the verdict cites the vote, dissent is set aside without quarrel, and timing is always a single window. That is cross-verification: only what the methods agree on gets said.
